Description
The Dainese Hector 13 ski/snowboard wrist guards are unlike most wrist guard protection, they were designed for winter sports in mind to protect you from spraining your wrist with a plate system on-top of the wrist rather than the palm like conventional skate wrist guards.
A semi-rigid polypropylene plate is placed on the top side of your wrist to prevent your wrists bending backwards. This is exactly what will happen when falling as you ski or snowboard along the mountain. These wrist guards also have an internal soft polyethylene padding for added comfort and shock absorption.
The plate has a central sliding mechanism, allowing the support to slide into the correct position to support your wrist at exactly the point where it bends. Everything is held comfortably into place by three large velcro straps.
The Hector 13 ski/snowboard wrist guards are slim and lightweight as they are made to be worn underneath your gloves. These will offer the best support for your wrists, stopping you from over bending your wrist when you fall on the mountain.
