Pre Christmas was manly training for me, with one set of races in leogang which is where we are based. The races went well, I got two 2nds however I was winning after first run but a not so good second run resulted in me finshing in second.
I then went home for about a week over Christmas which was nice to see family and friends and a bit of time off before heading out to Italy for some training and races with the Scottish team.
We did some night slaloms in Switzerland which I managed to pick up one podium and one 4th place. Then we had the Scottish FIS races run by Snowsport Scotland in Bormio. I came 4th the first day and 3rd the second day scoring a PB. And was 1st Brit both days. I then came back over to Austria to my team (Ambition).
I have been training in Hinterrit the past few days with word cup and europa cup racers including Britain’s number 1 Charlie Guest.
I have now been selected for the British team for the World Junior Championships in France at the start of February.
I have a few more races in Germany in Austria before I head over to France for the World Junior champs which I am really looking forward to.
