This month we came back on glaciers. I spent a couple of days in hintertux (Austria), and after 4 days there we traveled to Val Senales (Italy) for a 10 days camp. It feels great to be back on actual snow instead of ice! We can finally put in action the work that we’ve been doing in the snowdome on snow with the ruts that we will find in races.
This year I’ll manly focus on slalom because being a small team, its much easier to train it. It is also where I feel I have the most potential. Despite focusing on slalom, it is also important to ski the other disciplines like giant slalom and super G. This is because each discipline helps in different points for other disciplines. Super G is quite far away from slalom technically, but it helps on dealing with the speed.
Now I’m back in Austria for two weeks off before heading properly into winter.
