Ski & snowboard servicing

At Ski Exchange we have the experience and equipment to service your skis, snowboards and ski boots, and to correctly drill mount ski bindings. All work is carried out in our on-site workshop, giving you a quick turnaround and the peace of mind that your prized possessions are not being sent elsewhere to be serviced.

    The workshop runs through the summer as well as the season.

    Just pop in during opening hours and we will assess what is needed.

    All snowboards must have their bindings removed before drop-off.

Binding mounting is free on skis and boots bought from Ski Exchange. The charges above apply to equipment bought elsewhere.

Workshop questions

Do I need to book my equipment in?

No. There is no need to book. Just pop in to store during our opening hours and we will be happy to assess what is needed.

How long does a ski service take?

Turnaround is usually quick, but during busy periods it can reach 14 days. Summer is our quietest and fastest time of year.

Do you service skis and snowboards bought elsewhere?

Yes. We service any make or model, not just equipment bought from us.

Do I need to remove my snowboard bindings?

Yes. All snowboards must have their bindings removed before you drop them off with us.

Can you mount and adjust bindings?

Yes. We correctly drill mount ski bindings in our own workshop. Binding mounts are £30 for a system fit and £50 drilled. Mounting is free on skis and boots bought from Ski Exchange.

Is the work done on site?

All work is carried out in our on-site workshop. Your equipment is never sent elsewhere to be serviced.
