The Salomon Stance W80 is a directional metal laminate all-mountain ski designed to bridge the gap between Salomon's notorious on-piste carvers and their more playful QST freeride range. The Stance W 80 is designed for female riders to go everywhere ensuring a buttery-smooth ride at any speed on any snow condition.

Measuring 80mm at the waist, this ski sits on the slimmer end of the all-mountain category, aimed at someone who really wants to tear up ski slopes, going fast and holding long carve turns. But with its wide rockered tip, early rise tail, and camber underfoot it can easily jump from on piste charging to gliding over deeper snow found between trees or under chairlifts. That rocker helps turn initiations stay smoothly simple, too, along with camber underfoot to keep the hardpack performance impressive all over.

Salomon Stance W80 uses the latest construction and technology to be a powerful directional carver. A blend of Poplar and Karuba wood core sandwiched between two titanal layers plus a progressive sidecut is an extremely durable and stable formula, making the Stance W80 a brilliant on-piste carver on fresh groomers. The mixed wood core is a women's specific construction to make the ski lightweight and energetic between turns. As a result, the Stance W80 gives you confidence anywhere on the mountain regardless of speed, terrain, or conditions.

The Stance 80W has a rounded flex pattern, it has moderately soft in the tip then ramps up towards the centre then finally the tail is slightly stiffer than the tip. This makes it easy to engage and hold turns on and off the piste at any speed and makes it more poppy and lively when transitioning from left to right.

The Stance 80W is the perfect all-mountain ski for the more advanced user, it has great stability, responsiveness, and precision to give you the confidence to improve your skillset anywhere on the mountain.
